Abstract
The munaqosyah examination process is one of the academic stages involving students, supervisors, examiners, and examination rooms, making the scheduling process highly complex. The scheduling management, which is still conducted in a semi-computerized manner, has the potential to cause schedule conflicts, data inconsistencies, and difficulties in monitoring the examination process. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for automatic monitoring and scheduling of munaqosyah examinations in the Informatics Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method with an iterative and adaptive approach. The automatic scheduling process applies the Greedy algorithm to generate optimal schedules based on the availability of lecturers, rooms, and student priorities. The results of the study indicate that the system successfully integrates the monitoring and scheduling processes of munaqosyah examinations in a structured manner, minimizes scheduling conflicts, and provides more accurate information regarding examination implementation. Testing using the Black Box Testing method showed that the system achieved a 100% success rate and operated according to functional requirements, while User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demonstrated a user acceptance rate ranging from 96% to 100% across all evaluated aspects. Therefore, the system is considered feasible to support the management and monitoring of munaqosyah examinations more effectively and efficiently.
