Abstract

Non-performing financing is a major challenge for BMT Surya Sekawan Wonosobo because it has the potential to reduce liquidity, financing quality, and the institution's operational sustainability. This study aims to analyze the factors causing non-performing financing and the strategies used to resolve it. The research employed a qualitative approach with field research methods through observation, interviews, documentation, and descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that the primary causes originate from external member-related factors, while the resolution strategies include persuasive approaches, collection efforts, rescheduling, restructuring, and strengthening financing analysis. These strategies were found to be effective in minimizing the risk of non-performing financing and maintaining the operational stability of the BMT.
