Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green banking and green intellectual capital on the profitability of conventional and Islamic banks, as measured by ROA, with green financing acting as a moderator of green banking. The research subjects are banks registered with the OJK for the period 2020–2025. The research method employed a quantitative approach using moderation regression analysis. The results indicate that green banking has no effect on the ROA of conventional and Islamic banks. Green intellectual capital has a positive effect on the ROA of conventional banks but no effect on the ROA of Islamic banks. Green financing moderates the effect of green banking only on the ROA of Islamic banks.
