Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the State Special School Library 2 Bantul in inclusive learning activities within the school environment. This research uses library theory in learning and school library standards for children with special needs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The selection of informants in this study used purposive sampling techniques involving eight people consisting of library managers, teaching staff, and students of SLB Negeri 2 Bantul. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity testing in this study consisted of credibility testing, transferability testing, dependability testing, and confirmability testing, while data analysis in this study used the Miles and Huberman model. The conclusions from this research indicate that the existence of the SLB Negeri 2 Bantul library plays a very important role in providing learning resources and supporting its users to facilitate the process of developing information literacy skills in accordance with their characteristics. Therefore, it would be beneficial for the library at SLB Negeri 2 Bantul to support inclusive learning activities and other school-related initiatives by expanding its library space and enhancing facilities to meet the needs of its users.
