Abstract

The rapid development of the esports industry in Indonesia has not been matched by an integrated tournament management system, where operations still rely on various separate platforms, leading to administrative inefficiency. This study aims to design a business model and a digital startup application system named "ETourney" as a mobile-based tournament management platform. The business design analysis was conducted using the Business Model Canvas (BMC), Marketing Mix (7P), and Benchmarking approaches. Financial feasibility was evaluated through a five-year projection including Break Even Point (BEP), Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), and Return on Investment (ROI). The result of this research is the design of the E-Tourney platform that facilitates tournament creation, registration, bracket management, and centralized payment transactions. The monetization model relies on Platform Fees, registration commissions, promotion services, and sponsorships. The financial feasibility analysis using a Lean Startup approach shows positive results, achieving the Break Even Point (BEP) in the second year, an NPV of Rp21,089,003, an ROI reaching 151.30%, and a Payback Period (PP) of 4.31 years. It can be concluded that E-Tourney is an effective startup design for tournament management and is highly feasible to be developed as a sustainable digital business.
