Abstract
Nowadays, life style has close relation with the raise of arteriosclerosis. This disease causes the difficulty of blood transport. B/ood plasma contains lipoprotein that can transport lipid. Lipoprotein has hydrophobic core (trigliserid and cholesterol ester) that is surrounded by a layer of amphypatic lipid (fosfolipid and cholesterol). Lipid mil be transported by lipoprotein in its core which is non polar and hydrophobic. Lipoprotein can be divided into kilomikron, VL.DL (very low density lipoprotein), LDL (low density lipoprotein) and HDL, (high density lipoprotein). Each of them has different composition and function. Kilomikron and VLDL transport tngliserid. LDL transports cholesterol and phospholipid from hepar to periphery tissue while HDL transports cholesterol from opposite direction of LDL~ The abnormality in quality and quantity of lipoprotein is called dislipoproteinemia. Dislipoproteinemia can be classified into hipolipoproteinemia and hiperHpoproteinemia which each of them can cause different disease.
