Abstract

This study examines the design of the "Tholabul Ilmi" application in the context of the rapid development of digital technology, which has significantly influenced how Muslims, particularly school and university students, seek knowledge. The ease of accessing information presents both opportunities and challenges in maintaining the ethics and enthusiasm for seeking knowledge, as exemplified by early Islamic scholars. This research aims to design an Android-based hadith application named "Tholabul Ilmi," which features a collection of hadiths, stories of scholars, supplications, ethics, and motivational quotes regarding the pursuit of knowledge, functioning as an interactive and highly accessible digital da'wah medium. The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method utilizing the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The analysis phase involves determining content and system requirements; the design phase encompasses flowcharts, UML, activity diagrams, navigation structures, and user interfaces; and the development phase focuses on assembling the components into the final product. The results of this study are expected to yield a feasible hadith application that serves as a motivational tool for students in seeking knowledge, while simultaneously contributing to the advancement of technology-based Islamic da'wah.
