Abstract

AIDS is disease caused by a virus, which harm the immunity of human body. The virus is called Human Immune deficiency Virus (HIV). The virus enters the human body and attacks leukocyte cells which, finally, caused human immunity does not work properly. In fact, the virus is the result of sexual intercourse with somebody who has infected with it. The phenomena of HIV/AIDS has made the society worry a bout it. This is due to the fact that, so far, there is no medicine to cure the disease, and even most of the infected people were dead. AIDS is a disease needs not only a clinical one, but also bio-psico-sosio-spiritual approach. Islam sees that HIV/AIDS is caused by sexual intercourse outside marriage (zina). There are some verses of Al=-Qur'an, as well as Tradition , which forbid Moslems to do so. Therefore, the only solution is to have marriage according to the religious teachings and avoid to have a sex with different spouses.
