Abstract

In Indonesia, there are many religions, such as Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism. Therefore, the plurality of religion is a fact and one of the social phenomenon. Sometimes, it brings about social conflict, if we do not manage them proportionally. Actually, the conflict is avoidable when all adherents of a religion be tolerant of others in their daily life. This work comes to explain and analyze some motivations of religious tolerant. This writing focus on Sorowajan Banguntapan Bantul, where people who lives there has shown us that the plurality of religion does not arise that problems. There are not any pshycological any problems in their daily life although there are many different religions.
