Abstract
The main objective of human's life in this world is to achieve happiness. According to the Qur'an, the happiness can only be reached if human actualize laqwa values in his life. Therefore, the Qur'an asks human kind to understand and adopt them. The istructions o/taqwa in the Qur'an appear in various sentences, some of them are direct instructions, -while others are not. The purpose of this article is to discuss them. This reasearch uses method o/tafsir maudhu'iy and descriptive-analytical approach. From this research, the writer found five forms of instruction sentence o/taqwa in the Qur'an, i.e: 1) fi'il 'amr, 2) lam *amr, 3) istifham, IJtarajji, anrf5)jumlahkhabariyyahiv/H'c/icon/a/«5ma"nainsyaiyah. On the other hand, the meanings contained by the sentences have dinamic, creative, and inovative features.
