Abstract

The aimed of this research is: 1) to study Angiosperms species in Mangunan orchard area that can be used for compiling teaching material a module form; 2) to module developed of Angiosperms diversity species level based local potential, 3) to know module quality that had been compiled and observed by material aspect, presentation aspect, and language aspect based on expert material assessment, media expert, linguist expert, peer reviewer, and biology teacher; 4) to know the student response of the module. Research and development with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model were used as research method. The instrument of quality assessment module based on material aspects, presentation, and language, with analysis of qualitative descriptive design. The result showed that there were 16 Angiosperms species that can be used to compiling teaching material with 2 species of monocotyle and 14 species of dicotyle. Module of Angiosperms diversity species level based local potential had been developed. The module quality that observed based on material aspect, presentation aspect, and language aspect according to material assessment expert was gotten 109 to final point with 83,85% of percentage so showing very good, media assessment expert was gotten 46 to final point with 92% of percentage so showing very good, linguist assessment expert was gotten 17 to final point with 85% of percentage so showing very good, peer reviewer assessment was gotten 123,2 to final point with 91,26% of percentage so showing very good, and biology teacher assessment was gotten 123,33 to final point with 91,36% of percentage so showing very good. Students responded to the module was gotten 1373 to final point with 91,53% of percentage so showing very agree. Based on these percentage teaching material in this module form can be used as one of alternative material to biological teaching learning process and by students as one of alternative material to study.
