Abstract

The research about the values of faith contained is important for kids because a fundamental and a message easyer to rememmber. It’s make the writer interest to make a research about “The Values of Faith Contained in the Song 'God' That was Popularized by Maissy.” This research was conducted using the method of text analysis with semiotic approach. This research focused on the values of faith contained in lyrics of the song 'Allah' that was popularized by Maissy. Data in this researh collected by documentation. The method used to analyze data on the values of faith in the lyrics of the song 'Allah' is semiotic analysis method, or the study of a sign. Based on the above results, it was concluded that the values of faith contained in lyrics of the song 'Allah' that was popularized by Maissy are: 1) Believing that the universe is God's creation and all goes according to His will; 2) Believing that human is created by God and He loves human by providing a way for human fortune; 3) Believing that God is worthy of worship and only to Him all worship directed; 4) Believing the attributes of God mentioned in the Qur'an.
