Abstract

This study discusses the factors that affect the utilization Fortor collection of library books in class XI and XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri school year 2013/2014 . The purpose of research to find out what factors affect the students in the use of books in the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri . This study uses descriptive quantitative study subjects were all students of SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri as library users . While the object of this research is the collection of library books pemenfaatan SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri.Teknik data collection used in this study was a questionnaire as the primary method , observation , interviews and documentation as a complementary method . Population taken is class XI and XII in SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri . Sampling basis using a formula in which as many as 86 respondents . By using accidental sampling technique . The analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis , the results obtained can be concluded that based on the overall average of 3.86 so that the results obtained can be considered that the use of library books in class XI and XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri is high . In this study there were six indicators in the two sub-variables . With details of the average value as follows : an indicator variable needs of sub internal factor is 3.97 which is high , the indicator variable sub motif of internal factor is 3.61 which is high , the indicator variable of interest from the sub internal factor is 3.9 is high , a collection of sub completeness indicator variable external factors is 3.8 which is high , the indicator variable sub skills of librarians external factor is 3.85 which is high , the search of sub indicator variable external factors are 3 , 83 were classified as high . Based on the results of the average value of the above suggestions for library of SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri more provide the number and types of collections , coordinating with teachers picket to direct students to the library , user education for students , socialization library website and OPAC .
