Abstract

This research aimed to fine out the level of library customer satisfaction about quality of online public access catalogue based SLiMS at the Library of Geological Engineering Department of Gadjah Mada University. Subject were collected by using library customer. Data were collected by using questionnaires as the main method, documentation and interview as complementary method. Population are taken of all library customer of Geological Engineering Department in February 2012. Sample are taken as many as 83 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The analysis are used Quantitative Descriptive Analysis. Of the indicators under consideration are translated into ten sub-variables, namely: Correctness, Reliability, Useability, Maintanability, Testability, Portability, Interoperability, Interaoperability, Flexibility and Overall satisfaction. Based on the qualitative descriptive analysis, the results obtained can be summarized as follows: the score of assessment criteria based on the average value of 3,19 overall results this obtained can be categorized that used satisfaction on the quality of online public access catalogue based SLiMS at the Library of Geological Engineering Department of Gadjah Mada University is fair. Propose for library in order to add the facility of OPAC, for efficient and make it easy for information retrieval.
