Abstract

This research is entitled evaluation on the use of book non-text book collection at the SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. The meaning of use evaluation on this research is a process of describing and examining the use of collection at the library using certain approach. Based on the approach, the conclution to the level of use of the library collection can be identivied. Evaluation method applied is evaluation method centrally at usage with circulation study. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach. The techniques of encoding collection used are observation, documentation, and interview. The research concludes that the level of use at the library is everage 7,61% during period November to March 2012. of the results of this study is expected library SMK 5 Yogyakarta in collection development can refer to the collection in order to evaluation on the use later in the procurement of collection in accordance with user needs.
