Abstract

Car rental companies in kiki rental car using a database manually where all process transactions written on paper. That thing make the running of business process become slow and effective less and less eficient. This research intending to build application rent car where can use to process data rent car management like registration vehicle processing, a data driver, tenant data, transaction data, report lending and multi-platform applications that can be connected between the car rental group kiki kiki one with other car rental group. System development methods in this research using SDLC methodologies (System Development Life Cycle), which consists of data collection and analysis phase, design phase, implementation phase and the testing phase of the system. The programming language used is PHP with a MySQL database. The web application server that is used in these applications using WAMP. This study resulted the application of Car RentalManagement Information Systems In Kiki Rental Car Group Yogyakarta which can be used for processing management the vehicle data ,driver data, renter data, transaction data, financial statements and can be conneceted between the kiki rental car group 1 with kiki rental car other group. The results of testing the functionality of the system questionnaire involving 20 respondents, the majority of respondents said that a good assessment of the application has been made. Tests showed that 100% of respondents stated functionality of the system has been running well and 0% of respondents expressed a functional system is not running properly. while testing the usability of the system, the percentage answering SS (Strongly Agree) by 43%, responded S (Agree) as much as 42%, N (Neutral) l5%, TS (Disagree) 0%, and the answer STS (Strongly Disagree) 0%.
