Abstract
The research entitled "Design and Build the Librarian Social Media as Communication Media between Librarians" aims to make the librarian to be proactive, be able to transfer knowledge and to communicate anywhere, not limited by the time and places. This study is included into a qualitative research, which becomes the research instrument are the researchers their selves. The data source from a wide variety of books, journals, theses and other related literature search results to a variety of reading materials that relavan and supporting research. Variables in this study which users or librarians. Data was collected by means of documentation, observation and interviews. Based on these results we can conclude menu or content that is appropriate to the needs of librarians in using social media librarian that menu at the topbar, the menu provided, among others, Notification friends, messages, events, profile, find friends, Home and Accounts, and on the left sidebar menu provided, among others, the design profile, games, prizes librarian, forums, text librarian, discussion librarians, question and answer, menu information and menu entries, while the menu footer section is chat menu. Based on the research that has been conducted by researchers then with their social media librarians provide more proactive librarian again not only in the real world but in the virtual world as well.
