Abstract

This research aims to analyze and to describe the implementation of SNI 7330:2009 on library management of UIN Sunan Kalijaga of Yogyakarta. It is a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga and the object is its library management viewed from SNI 7330:2009. The measurement instrument of this research is SNI 7330:2009 issued by Organization of Indonesian Standard National. It includes library collection, collection management, collection preservation, library service, human resource, library organization, building, library budget, information and communications technology and library cooperation. In collecting the data, this research uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. The analysis technique of this research uses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The data validity test uses credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The result shows that library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga has fulfilled 40% of the standards. This research offers a suggestion to UIN Sunan Kalijaga to organize some aspects, such as recollection, service development, library budget, buildings, and human resource.
