Abstract
The objectivity of Leader voting process in Assalafie Islamic Boarding School Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon is very important to determine the proper leader who fulfills the criteria that has been decided. Now a days, to select head of dormitory in boarding school process use manual method, that needs a much time and there is still subjectivical things in the selecting. It is caused by the difficulty in evaluating the same capability of candidate. Thus, it is required a decision support system that is more efficient and easily to select the best candidate. The research that will be done is an effort to solve the problem of subjectivity with decision supporting system that uses profile matching method and simple additive weighting based on the existing criteria. Profile matching method counts the gap competence between actual value of candidate and the target value. Meanwhile simple additive weighting method counts the total from academic rank in every alternative for the whole attributes. The implementation system that is used is PHP and DBMS MySQL. Final result of research is Simple Additive Weighting that can be the consideration in taking decision of determining the new head of dormitory in boarding school, because it has a more accurate similarity with manual method.
