Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education, mental strength, financial intelligence, revenue expectations, family environment and Neighbourhoods on interest in entrepreneurship of students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The sample was 90 students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This study used primary data and collected using questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) Partially, entrepreneurship education, mental strength, revenue expectations and family environment have positive significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship, while financial intelligence negatively affect the interest in entrepreneurship of students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. 2) Simultaneously, entrepreneurship education, mental strength, financial intelligence, revenue expectations, and family environtment are significant positive to interest in entrepreneurship of students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The results of this study determined that coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) is 0.279, which means 27.9% interest in entrepreneurship variation can be explained by the variation of the five independent variables, while the 72.1% is explained by other cause out of the research.
