Abstract
The reasearch aims to describe music paying, reading convenience and the significant influence of music towards the users' reading conveniences in the Balai Layanan Perpustakaan Grhatama Pustaka BPAD DIY. This research was a descriptive quantitative with two variables those are independent variable (music) and dependent variable (reading convenience). Data collecting techniques used observation method, interview method and questioner which were taking 100 samples from 145825 populations. The sampling technique using incidental sampling. In this research the collected data was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 23. Then, the analysis of the data used the formulas of mean, grand mean, product moment correlation, simple linier regression, and also hypothesis test in order to get the quantitative result. The analysis result showed that the music in the Balai Layanan Perpustakaan Grhatama Pustaka BPAD DIY was included to fine category and the users' reading convenience showed as good category. Also, there was the significant influence between the variable X that was the independent variable (music) and variable Y that was the dependent variable (reading convenience) that was showed with the product moment correlation value about 0,807, which meant very strong and the R square value about 0,651. The result of this research was expected to upgrade the quality of music playing service.
