Abstract

Economic growth is an important indicator in assessing economic conditions in a region. Economic growth illustrates the impact of policies issued by the authorities especially in the economic field. Therefore, the authors conducted a study that aims to analyze how the influence of monetary and fiscal policy on economic growth. The method used in this research is panel data regression by using common effect model. For analysis purposes, secondary data are obtained from BPS and Bank Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the monetary policy variables of interest rates and third party funds have no significant effect on economic growth. Fiscal and regional taxes fiscal variables also have no significant effect on economic growth. The variable that has significant effect to economic growth is only the variable of fiscal policy is the expenditure. It has negative effect. This shows that the policies issued by the government and the monetary authorities are still not effective to increase economic growth so that there is need for improvement,Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan indikator penting dalam menilai kondisi perekonomian di suatu wilayah. Pertumbuhan ekonomi menggambarkan dampak dari kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak-pihak yang berwenang khususnya dalam bidang ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh kebijakan moneter dan fiskal terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel dengan menggunakan common effect model. Untuk tujuan analiisis digunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari BPS dan Bank Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel kebijkan moneter yaitu suku bunga dan dana pihak ketiga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Variabel kebijakan fiskal pendapatan daerah dan pajak juga tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi hanya variabel kebijakan fiskal yaitu pengeluaran daerah itu pun berpengaruh negatif. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah dan otoritas moneter masih belum efektif untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi sehingga perlu adanya pembenahan.
