Abstract

The aims of this research were: (1) to know the implementation level of knowledge sharing which have been done in BPAD DIY; (2) to know the competence level of librarian in BPAD DIY; and (3) to know were there any influence of knowledge sharing toward the competence of librarian in BPAD DIY. This research was used descriptive quantitative method. The population of this research was all of the librarians in BPAD DIY as much as 12 people. Sample-taking technique was used saturation sample technique. Primer data collecting technique used was questioner using likert scale with 4 answer alternatives. Supporting data collecting technique used observation and documentation. The validity test and reliability used the correlation of Product Moment and Alpha Cronbach, whereas, the analysis of data used correlation of Product Moment and Simple Linier Regression. The conclusion of this research were: (1) the implementation level of knowledge sharing in BPAD DIY was about 3,34 included in really good category with correlation interval 3,26X≤4,00; (2) the competence level of librarian in BPAD DIY was about 3,16 included in good category with interval 2,51X≤3,25; and (3) there was an influence of knowledge sharing toward the competence of librarian in BPAD DIY based on the result of product moment was about 0,887 with strong influence. Whereas, the value of r-sum (0,887) r-table (0,606) and the number of the influences of knowledge sharing toward the competence of librarian in BPAD DIY which was marked by the determination coefficient in about 0,787. The researcher suggested that the librarian should be more confident in promoting their works, as well as increasing knowledge and ability about information technology. ( INDONESIA ) Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui tingkat implementasi knowledge sharing yang dilakukan di BPAD DIY; (2) untuk mengetahui tingkat kompetensi pustakawan di BPAD DIY; dan (3) untuk megetahui adakah pengaruh knowledge sharing terhadap kompetensi pustakawan di BPAD DIY. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pustakawan di BPAD DIY sebanyak 12 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data primer menggunakan angket (kuesioner) dengan 4 alternatif jawaban dari skala likert. Teknik pengumpulan data pelengkap menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas pada penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi product moment dan alpha cronbach, sedangkan untuk analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dan regresi linier sederhana. Adapun kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini yakni: (1) tingkat implementasi knowledge sharing di BPAD DIY sebesar 3,34 termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan interval 3,26<X≤4,00; (2) tingkat kompetensi pustakawan di BPAD DIY sebesar 3,16 termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan interval 2,51<X≤3,25; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh knowledge sharing terhadap kompetensi pustakawan di BPAD DIY berdasarkan hasil perhitungan product moment sebesar 0,887 dengan tingkat pengaruh yang sangat kuat. Sedangkan nilai r-hitung (0,887)>r-tabel (0,606) dan besarnya pengaruh knowledge sharing terhadap kompetensi pustakawan di BPAD DIY yang ditandai dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,787. Peneliti menyarankan agar pustakawan lebih percaya diri mempromosikan kerjanya, serta menambah pengetahuan dan kemampuannya mengenai teknologi informasi.
