Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of: (1) Job stress on the performance of employees of PT. Sharia BPR Bangun Drajat Warga Yogyakarta. (2) Work environment on the performance of employees of PT. Sharia BPR Bangun Drajat Warga Yogyakarta. This study includes causal associative research using a quantitative approach. The sample in this study is the entire employee population of PT. Sharia BPR Bangun Drajat Warga Yogyakarta totaling 46 people. Data collection used a questionnaire, while data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis. Data were collected by questionnaire that had been tested for validity (CFA) and reliability (Cronbach Alpha). Multiple lineer regression analysis is used to test this research hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Job stress has a positive effect on the performance of employees of PT. Sharia BPR Bangun Drajat Warga Yogyakarta. Based on the results of calculations for the work stress variables obtained t count for the work stress variable of 2.665> t table of 2.032, thus indicating that work stress has a positive effect on the performance of employees of PT. Sharia BPR Bangun Drajat Warga Yogyakarta. Positive coefficient value is 0.257. With the significance value of the work stress variable is 0.012 <0.05. (2) The work environment has a positive effect on the performance of employees of PT. Sharia BPR Bangun Drajat Warga Yogyakarta. Based on the results of calculations for work environment variables obtained t value for the work environment variable of 3.801> t table of 2.032 and a positive coefficient value of 0.356, thus indicating that the work environment has a positive effect on the performance of employees of PT. Sharia BPR Bangun Drajat Warga Yogyakarta. The significance value of the work environment variable is 0.001 <0.05.
