Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of users of the interior design of the library Ganesha STEMBAYO SMK N 2 Depok Sleman. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with the subject of the members of the library Ganesha STEMBAYO SMK N 2 Depok Sleman, the object of this research is interior design. Methods of collecting data through questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The population of this research is the members of the Ganesha STEMBAYO library SMK N 2 Depok Sleman in the period 2019 a number of 2985 people where the respondents taken amounted to 97 people. Data analysis uses the mean and grand mean formulas. The details of the data processing results obtained the average value of the total interior design variables of 3.16, which shows that the perception of users of the interior design of the library of Ganesha STEMBAYO SMK N 2 Depok Sleman is quite good. The results of the sub-variable space with an average yield of 2.87 are categorized as good. Coloring with an average yield of 3.54 is categorized very well. Lighting with an average value of 2.97 is categorized as good, air circulation with an average value of 3.31 and an acoustic system with an average value of 3.15 is categorized as good. From the results of the data processing, the researcher suggested the library of Ganesha STEMBAYO to make some improvements in several things including the design of the chair, the design of the bookshelf, the utilization of the area, to multiply the electrical terminals in the library reading room. With these suggestions it is hoped that library interior design will get better ( INDONESIA ) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pemustaka terhadap desain interior Perpustakaan Ganesha STEMBAYO SMK N 2 Depok Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek anggota Perpustakaan Ganesha STEMBAYO SMK N 2 Depok Sleman, objek penelitian ini yaitu desain interior. Metode pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu anggota Perpustakaan Ganesha STEMBAYO SMK N 2 Depok Sleman pada periode tahun 2019 sejumlah 2985 orang dimana responden yang diambil berjumlah 97 orang. Analisis data menggunakan rumus mean dan grand mean. Adapun rincian hasil olah data didapatkan nilai rata-rata total variabel desain interior sebesar 3,16 yang menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pemustaka terhadap desain interior Perpustakaan Ganesha STEMBAYO SMK N 2 Depok Sleman tergolong baik. Hasil dari sub variabel ruang dengan hasil rata-rata 2,87 dikategorikan baik. Pewarnaan dengan hasil rata-rata 3,54 dikategorikan sangat baik. Pencahayaan dengan nilai rata-rata 2,97 dikategorikan baik, sirkulasi udara dengan nilai rata-rata 3,31 dan sistem akustik dengan nilai rata-rata 3,15 dikategorikan baik. Dari hasil olah data tersebut peneliti meyarankan Perpustakan Ganesha STEMBAYO untuk melakukan beberapa perbaikan dalam beberapa hal diantaranya desain kursi, desain rak buku, pemanfaatan area, memperbanyak terminal listrik pada ruang baca perpustakaan. Dengan saran tersebut diharapkan desain interior perpustakaan akan semakin baik.
