Abstract

Examination system is a means to evaluate the learning outcomes that have been made by educators ( teachers) and students ( examinees) . The continued development of the medium used to convey the examination system, one of which is through an online examination system. However, the development of this medium needs to be balanced with the availability of the questions that meet quality standards. This is intended to ensure that students receive the appropriate exam to evaluate their learning outcomes. Likewise for teachers in order to evaluate the questions that will be given to students. Online examination system is a system that supports to hold exams for examinees over the internet. More recently, the development of an online examination system is the implementation of a computerized adaptive test or better known as Computerized Adaptive Testing ( CAT ) . Furthermore computerized adaptive test systems using Item Response Theory approach to evaluate learning outcomes in only one area of study. To develop the test system in order to ensure the availability of the questions that meet quality standards, it is necessary to implement Weighted Deviation Model. Weighted Deviation From the results of the implementation and testing of models that have been made to the application of the test system can be seen that the calculation of this system together with the results of calculations performed manually. With the application of adaptive test systems that have problems of quality standards, it is expected to help provide a means to test participants to practice independently test and evaluate its ability to understand the subject matter. Keywords : computerized adaptif testing, item response theory, weighted deviation model.
