Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors that influence the librarian’s satisfactory about automation system through the approach of Technology Acceptance Model. This research is to adopted from research model TAM Davis 1989. There are two variables in this research, are independent variable that containt like ease, expediency, trends, real, conditions and the dependent variable is like the satisfaction of librarian. The data collection methods that used by questionnaire as the first method and interviews, documentation is as a complement. The population in this research is all of the librarian in Christian Duta Wacana University at Yogyakarta on February 2013. The samples that taken are from 93 respondents using accidental sampling technics. The data analysis that used is descriptive quantitatif. The result of this research mention that the easier variabel, the advantages the tendencies, the real affect that influence the variable of librarian satisfactory. The variables of advantages, tendencies, real affect is described became 14 indicator, there are 6 easier indicator, 4 advantages indicator, 2 tendecies indicator, 2 real condition indicator.But to variable of satisfaction is devided into 3 sub variables respon, focus, respon time and the indicator it self have sub indicator like this 3 respon indicator, 3 focus indicator and 2 respon time indicator. The result of this research is the criterion based on all average scores that find from the result of variable easier, advantages, tendencies, real condition is 2,97, the librarian satisfactory is 2,78). So it can be categorized that the librarian satisfactory about automation system by technology acceptance model approach in Christian Duta Wacana University at Yogyakarta have a get good categorized.
