Abstract

Mardika Fahmi Rais (09140097), 2003. Book collection utilization level at The Library of SMA Negeri 1 Parakan Temanggung Central Java. This study aims to detect how book collection utilization level at The Library of SMA Negeri 1 Parakan Temanggung Central Java. This research is descriptive with approaches quantitative. Population in this research is as big as 745 student, temporary sample total as big as 88 student. Method of data collection using observation, documentation and questionnaires. data analysis technique uses mean. The result showed that book collection utilization level at The Library of SMA Negeri 1 Parakan Temanggung Central Java belongs high averagely as big as 3.03. Level of internal factors motif with an average of 3.23 belong in high criteria. Respondents utilizing a collection of books for your spare time. Internal factor interest rate with an average of 2.96 belong in high criteria. Respondent felt glad if can make use book collection. Level of internal factors needs to an average of 3.17 belong in high criteria. Respondents utilize books as to increase their knowledge of a particular field. While the level of the external factors completeness of the collection with an average of 2.91 belong in high criteria. Respondents utilizing a collection of books because it is influenced by the physical condition of a good book in the library. External factors librarian skill level in serving users with an average of 3.34 belong in very high criteria. Respondents utilize books as influenced by hospitality librarian in serving students. Level of external factors availability information retrieval facilities with an average of 2.90 belong in high criteria.
