Abstract

This study aims to describe the users perception toward the quality of mobile library service of Archives Office and District Library of Purworejo. To measure the quality of the service, the researcher uses servqual model with five dimensions named tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The subject of the research is the users of mobile library and the object of this research is the quality of mobile library service. The population of this research is 3002 registered users of mobile library, and 100 respondents are taken as the sample of this research by using accidental sampling technique. In collecting the data, the researcher uses some methods they are observation, interview, documentation and questionnaires as the primary method. The research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research can be collected, they are: tangible dimension has average value of service quality is 3,18. Based on the value, the average has good categorized. Reliability dimension has average value of service quality is 2,99. Based on the value, the average has good categorized. Responsiveness dimension has average value of service quality is 3,2. Based on the value, the average has good categorized. Assurance dimension has average value of service quality is 3,18. Based on the value, the average has very good categorized. Empathy dimension has average value of service quality is 3,18. Based on the value, the average has good categorized. Generally, the variable of service quality has value is 3,18. Based on the value, the average has good categorized. The result of the research shows that perception of the users toward the service quality of mobile library library service of archives office and district library of Purworejo is good, but they are some matters that need to be noted named the neatness of the room and the mobile library collection, mobile library facilities, frequency of mobile library visits, and the availability of mobile library collections.
