Abstract

One of the phenomena of living hadist which can be found in Yogyakarta was the tradition of pilgrimage to the tomb in the cemetery of Panembahan Senopati. The pilgrimage is referred through the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad. Although not all of them know the text of the Hadith because of the extent of religious knowledge got from the religious figure through their speeches. As for the practice of their implementation adjusted to the context of the Java community. The visitors of the tomb has a different view or attitude. The preservation of habit or tradition of Java, that is pray for the ancestors, become the intermediary of God and looking for blessing. But some are more restrictive, that just simply pray for a grave which also included proselytizers. Salah satu fenomena living hadis yang dapat ditemukan di Yogyakarta adalah tradisi ziarah kubur di Pemakaman Panembahan Senopati Kotagede. Kegiatan ziarah kubur dimaksud dirujuk melalui hadis Nabi Muhammad saw. Walaupun tidak semuanya mengetahui teks hadis karena sebatas mendapat pengetahuan dari tokoh agama melalui ceramah. Adapun praktek pelaksanaannya disesuaikan dengan konteks masyarakat Jawa. Para pengunjung makam memiliki sikap atau pandangan yang berbeda-beda. Pelestarian kebiasaan atau tradisi Jawa, yaitu mendoakan leluhur, perantara Tuhan dan mencari berkah. Namun ada juga yang yang lebih ketat, yaitu hanya sekadar mendoakan ahli kubur yang juga termasuk penyebar agama Islam. Kata kunci : Makam Panembahan Senopoati, living hadis
