Abstract

This study aims of this study was to obtain information about the influence and magnitude of the inquiry learning model using PhET simulation on the physics learning outcomes of class X students at SMK Kesehatan Bantul on vibration and wave material. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental, with a pretest- posttest design group used to determine the effect of a treatment on research subjects. The population of this study were all students of class X SMK Kesehatan Bantul, with a sample of 2 classes, namely class FKK 1 and FKK 2. The research data obtained using an instrument in the form of choice of 20 questions were carried out at the time of the pretest before the learning process was carried out, and posttest conducted after the learning process is carried out. From the results of hypothesis testing obtained t count > t table at a significance level of 0.05, obtained t count 7.823 > t table 2.042, so H0 is rejected which means that the inquiry learning model using simulation affects the learning outcomes of of class X students at SMK Kesehatan Bantul on vibration and wave material. While the analysis test uses The N-gain was obtained at 0.2684, then the large influence of the investigative learning model using PhET simulation on the learning outcomes of of class X students at SMK Kesehatan Bantul on vibration and wave materials included in the low category.
