Abstract

This research departs from various impacts of globalization and This research departs from various impacts of globalization and modernization that is so fast that it is necessary to prepare humans who have two competencies at once; Science and technology and faith and taqwa. The development of religious culture reflected in various activities and rules made and mutually agreed upon is an effort needed by schools to improve student discipline in schools that are integrated in the management provisions of educational institutions. The purpose of this study is to describe the style of the principal in developing religious culture in man 3 sleman yogyakarta, to find the policy of the principal in developing religious culture in man 3 sleman yogyakarta, to describe the success of religious culture of learners in man 3 sleman yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research, data collection is done with observations, interviews and documents. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusion withdrawal. Checking the validity of data is done by trigulation of data. The results showed that: First, showing the principal at MAN 3 Sleman Yogyakarta in carrying out his leadership adheres to a model of democratic leadership style, this can be seen the principal becomes Uswah al-hasanah, in the process of the subordinate movement always respects his subordinates, always tries to synchronize personal interests and goals with the interests of the school, always trying to prioritize cooperation to achieve goals, the principal receives advice, Opinions and criticisms from his subordinates, always trying to develop the abilities of his subordinates. In addition, charismatic style is a style owned by the principal by providing good transparency to teachers, students and school residents, and able to provide a spirit and enthusiasm to all school residents to achieve the desired goals. Charismatic style has characteristics including having a large following, for example, having a large number of followers. Charisma style cannot be measured by wealth, power, health, Headmaster MAN 3 Sleman in leading is good and uses a democtatis leadership style but even better if the principal uses a traditional style, so that the principal can be required to always improve the ability and quality of his subordinates in achieving organizational goals. The two policies of the principal in developing religious culture, the policy of the principal in developing religious culture which is intended in this study are school programs in order to civilize religious culture in MAN 3 Sleman Yogyakarta, including the following: (a) Senyum Sapa Culture; (b) The Implementation of Dhuha Prayer in Congregation; (c) Reading Asmaul Husnah before Lessons; (d) Kultum and Tadarus of the Qur'an; (e) Implementation of xii Dzuhur Prayer and Jamaah Ashar Prayer; (f) MAyoga Dai Club; (g) Tahfizul Qur'an Scheduled. Third, the success of religious cultural values can be spelled out in the following values: (a) The success of religious values; (b) Success of Honest Values; (c) The Success of The Torelance Value; (d) Success of Disciplinary Values; (e) Success values reward achievement; (f) The Success of Responsible Values; (g) Success of the Value of Peace; (h) Success of Independence Value; (i) Success of the Value of Hard Work; (j) Success of The Value of Caring for Others; (k) Success of The Value of Silaturahmi.
