Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the order of life and has had effects and changes in all fields, including education. The distance learning system was chosen as an effort to reduce the transmission rate in the school environment. However, the lack of preparation and the absence of a clear curriculum have made the distance learning system unable to be implemented effectively and optimally. With this learning system, it is hoped that teachers will still be able to carry out the learning process through the use of information and communication technology (internet) programs in finding, creating, and delivering subject matter and evaluating student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the distance learning system on the digital literacy of PAUD teachers in the province of Lampung. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques to be used are normality test, linearity test, correlation test, simple linear regression test, and look for the value of the coefficient of determination by using the SPSS version 26 application program for windows. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was concluded that the influence of the distance learning system on the digital literacy of PAUD teachers in Lampung province can be seen from the teacher's ability to carry out the learning process without direct interaction between teachers and students (in the classroom) but through the use of technology programs. information and communication (internet). From the results of the simple linear regression test that has been carried out, it can be seen that the Sig value is 0.000 ˂ 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of the distance learning system on the digital literacy of PAUD teachers in the province of Lampung. Furthermore, the value of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.559 is also obtained. This shows that the influence of the distance learning system on digital literacy is 55.9%, while the remaining 44.1% is influenced by other variables that the authors did not examine in this study.
