Abstract

Multicultural education is often called multicultural education or diversity. The purpose of multicultural education is to help students develop an understanding of attitudes towards the environment of various ethnicities and cultures. This understanding and attitude should be instilled from an early age. Various ways of planting can be done at the level of early childhood education units. One way is through the central learning model. The purpose of the study was to examine the implementation of multiculturalism in religious values through a role-playing center learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive type and approach, the research was conducted at the Raden Sadjad Natuna TK Angkasa Lanud school. Data collection techniques using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique used triangulation technique. The research subjects consisted of 3 children and their parents in TK Angkasa Lanud Raden Sadjad Natuna. The results of the study show: First, the implementation of multicultural education on religious values through a role-playing center learning model during the covid-19 pandemic has a planning, implementation, and assessment. Planning during the pandemic, the institution prepares RPP, RPPH, Prota, Prosem and prepares learning links through zoom meetings and whatsapp groups, as well as making learning plans that will be implemented. In preparation for the pandemic, the teacher provides learning materials in the form of videos containing instructions for students to be able to apply religious values in their daily lives, such as praying before and after studying, praying before and after eating, and praying. another everyday. Assessment during the pandemic, teachers assess students' roles and make videos as a form of reports to their teachers and hold meetings through zoom meetings as a form of direct assessment and teaching to students. Second, the impact of implementing multicultural education on religious values through a role-playing center learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic shows that students can practice prayers directly, such as prayers before and after meals, as well as other prayers, respecting each other, please help, and children can distinguish the procedures for praying from each religion in their daily lives.
