Abstract

Communication is one of the important issues in people's lives that affects daily social activities, especially the delivery of information, be it messages, ideas, and ideas, from one party to another. Usually this communication activity is carried out verbally or verbally, making it easier for both parties to understand each other. Therefore, the creation of an active signatory application affects the deaf/deaf group in communicating with the surrounding community in public places. However, today's signeractive applications don't use it much until recently. To find out the functionality needs of users so that they can develop further signeractive applications and can be reused properly. From the results of the questionnaire usingelements, user experience namely: input control, navigation systems, information systems and call to action elements, 35 respondents got 25% of the indicators that did not agree. The purpose of this research is to redesign the signeractive application by paying attention to UI and UX aspects using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach based on ISO 9241-210 with 4 stages, namely, specify the context of use, specify user requirements, product design solutions, and evaluate. against requirements. then tested the UI & UX recommendations using a questionnaire withelements, user interface namely: value, adoptability, desirability, & usability (VADU) to 35 users. The test results have increased from the current signeractive application, with ascale value of Likert 85%.
