Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out the dynamics of Islamic Religious Education in Goro Hamlet in 1940-2020 and to find out the success of Islamic Religious Education in Goro Hamlet in creating a generation of activists. The writing of this thesis uses the historical method with the steps in historical research covering four things, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The oral data collection used in this study used an in- depth interview. This research uses contextual analysis in processing and analyzing data. The results showed that: 1) the dynamics of the development of Islamic education in Goro Hamlet started from the establishment of Madrasah Diniyah in the 1940s, First Islamic Education (PGAP) in 1974, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in 1979, TK Aisyiah 01 Jatipuro in 1989, Playgroup (KB) Aisyiah 01 Jatipuro in 2011; 2) The triumph of Islamic education in Goro Hamlet started from the triumph of Madrasah diniyah Islamiyah in Goro Hamlet which gave birth to non-formal education and formal education. This non-formal education has given birth to a generation that is active in various community organizations such as Muhammadiyah, NU and LDII and is also active in government institutions such as LPMP and BPD. The success of Islamic education in Goro Hamlet is supported by several factors including: first, the persistence of educators to educate and teach lessons to their students; second, the existence of support from outside the region to assist in the process of its activities; third, the public's desire to study religious knowledge; fourth, support from the community in the form of material and non-material
