Abstract

Resilience is an ability that a person has to deal his problems experienced. A person's resilience can be an innate trait or character, so support from the social environment is needed to achieve resilience in the Covid-19 era. This study aims to find out what are the resilience problems experienced by the subject in the Covid-19 era, as well as to find out what factors affect the resilience of the subject of the modern Al-Muwahhidin Islamic boarding school in the Covid-19 era. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, then the data collection techniques used are interview, observation and documentation techniques, and descriptive-analytic data analysis techniques. This study uses six subjects, they are students of Al-Muwahhidin Islamic boarding school. The results of this study describe that there are resilience problems experienced by the subject during the Covid 19 era, there are physical and psychological problems. However, despite experiencing resilience problems the subject gets support from the surrounding environment, so that process of developing the resilience is good. In addition to internal factors and external factors that affect the subject of resilience, there is also religiosity which has a positive effect on the development of subject resilience in the Covid-19 era.
