Abstract

This research is based on the Covid-19 virus outbreak that attacks all aspects of life, including education. The educational process that was originally face-to-face has turned into online learning. This online learning must be carried out with proper management so that the learning process is realized as expected so that students' learning motivation increases in order to achieve maximum learning outcomes. This study aims to determine and describe the application of classroom management in improving student learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD N 02 Kunci Sidareja, Cilacap Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach taking the background at SD N 02 Kunci. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, documentation and interviews. Interviews were conducted using structured interviews with interview guidelines. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman model, namely by reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The validity of this research data technique is by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of the research show that: (1) the form of bold class management applied in SD N 02 adjusts the emergency curriculum. (2) The role of teachers, principals and guardians of students in increasing students' learning motivation, namely teachers use a variety of learning methods, principals as important policy holders, guardians of students support the needs of food and clothing and enthusiasm for learning their children. (3) indicators that make classroom management during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD N 02 Kunci Sidareja successful, namely the creation of a conducive, orderly, and fun learning environment; there is a good relationship between students and teachers, as well as teachers and students interpersonally.
