Abstract

This study discusses the restructuring of troubled financing on murabahah contracts at PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia Palu Branch. One of the things that is of concern is the impact of Covid 19 which has affected the community's economy, because of this many debtors experience problem financing, a strategy for saving financing is needed, one of which is restructuring, efforts made by the Bank in order to help customers who experience decreased income in their business. However, in giving policies, it must be calculated carefully and accommodate the interests of both parties because the additional time is not followed by an additional amount of margin, in this case it could cause losses to the Bank if it only prioritizes the interests of the customer. This study uses a normative juridical approach (library research) by analyzing the legal aspects that occur in the field. The research results show that the main factor of problems in Murabahah transactions at Bank Muamalat Palu Branch is the lack of analysis and supervision of the Bank in providing financing. The suggestions from the Compiler are to strengthen accurate information channels and professional human resources in their fields.
