Abstract

The condition of Earth is experiencing a planetary-scale ecological crisis, this is exacerbated by the massive development carried out by the state. Since the era of President Soeharto, we have been filled with development and "welfare" behind the development, even until the era of President Joko Widodo, the country was massively building infrastructure. The people of Wadas Village are victims of state development, they are disturbed by their calm and have to struggle to maintain their living space and the natural preservation of their village. Islam as a religion that is universal and applies throughout the ages, must have its views and attitudes in matters of nature conservation. Islamic ecotheology as a form of constructive theology related to environmental problems based on Islamic teachings contains how the relationship between humans, God, and nature should be built. In religion, ecotheology is suitable as a foothold in saving the environment. In this study, the author wants to examine the struggle for rejection of the people of Wadas Village and the principles of rejection of the people of Wadas Village and their relationship with Islamic ecotheology. This research is qualitative research with data collection methods of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are divided into two points, namely: first. The people of Wadas Village have rejected mining from the start, a long struggle of up to four years showing their commitment to maintaining the living space and natural preservation of Wadas Village. Second, it is clear that in the attitude of the people of Wadas Village there are principles that they hold, which then has the principles of Islamic ecotheology. The six principles of Islamic ecotheology contained in the struggle of the people of Wadas Village are Tawhid, Amanah, Khilafah, Shari'ah, I'tidal
