Abstract

Many hijrah phenomena occur among the millennial community and are growing rapidly in Indonesia in general. This is due to the desire of individuals or groups to become better individuals from the perspective of Islam. The decision to emigrate occurs among the middle class, especially students because they are educated and economically richer than rural communities or poor city dwellers in narrow alleys or densely populated settlements, so migration appears because it is already popular on social media. This study aims to understand in more depth the psychodynamics of women's religious ambiversion of migration by raising the results of the life stories of women who joined the Campus Dakwah Institute (LDK). This disclosure process uses qualitative methods with case studies to describe how the psychodynamic ambiversion of women's religious migration by raising the results of the life stories of women who joined LDK. The duration of data collection was carried out intensively for three months from January to March 2022 with seven informants. The main data collection technique is in-depth interviews with key members and management. While the observation technique is used to observe the activities at LDK Baabul Hikmah. In addition, data collection through documentation was also carried out to collect research-related data. The results of the study show that female students are motivated to take part in the Baabul Hikmah LDK at the University of Mataram. First, physiological needs; second, LDK Baabul Hikmah is able to fulfill a sense of security; third, the giving of love and acceptance from the board of LDK Baabul Hikmah to members; fourth, LDK Baabul Hikmah is able to fulfill a sense of being appreciated by all members of LDK; fifth, self-actualization is an important part of human beings. Furthermore, Carl G. Jung stated that the phenomenon of migrating at the Dakwah Institute of the Baabul Hikmah Campus, University of Mataram can at least be seen from several aspects: 1) ego, namely there is a wave of tests when they want to make hijrah; 2) personal unconscious which is characterized by bad life experiences before making hijrah; 3) collective unconscious which is characterized by threats from religion which make him realize that what he has been doing so far is not in accordance with religious teachings, and 4) self (self), namely the existence of a life that continues to be fought for after hijrah.
