Abstract

With the spread of Covid-19 which is so fast and cannot be controlled by the Indonesian government, many people feel the negative impact. The community feels very anxious about the Covid-19 virus, many workers have been laid off and many have also been laid off. this virus makes many people lose their economic fields. The economy of Indonesian society is not equal, there are rich, middle class and underprivileged. People who have a middle-class economy may still have savings to meet their needs during a pandemic, but for the lower middle class they are very down because they can only rely on working that day to support their family's life that day. With all these concerns, Pak Musthofa as the head of the rw in Ledok Gowok had the initiative to make changes and met Kagama who had the same program to help the Ledok Gowok community during the Pandemic. This is interesting to research because it is hoped that this program can play an important role in fostering public awareness to help others in the midst of anxiety due to the pandemic, especially in Ledok Gowok. This research uses a field research model (field reseach), namely a study by observing objects directly in order to obtain accurate data. With qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Then processed and analyzed into chapters and sub-chapters regarding the role of the Chantelan philanthropy program in Ledok Gowok. programs that are part of generosity and alms that are recommended by Islam.
