Abstract

Service is an important part in building a better society. Through dedication, make a real contribution to others, develop yourself and build stronger relationships with the surrounding community. Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor implements the obligation to serve all its alumni, one of which is the dedication of Collegian Student. Collegian Student Gontor For Girls Campus Two do not only work as educators, but as students and also serve in the cottage sectors. There are many obligations that must be carried out, can Collegian Student develop competence as educators. Seeing competence is one of the things that educators must have to support the teaching profession. This study aims to determine the Implications of Collegian Student Devotion to the development of educator competence in Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor For Girls Campus Two. This research is a qualitative research with an educative approach. The technique for determining research subjects used Purposive Sampling and Snowball Sampling Techniques. Research Data Collection Techniques using Observation, Interview and Documentation techniques. While testing the validity of the data is done by triangulating data and data sources. As well as data analysis techniques carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) The concept of Collegian Student Service at Gontor For Girls Campus Two, is a Service Teacher who is given three obligations, namely being a Student at Darussalam Gontor University, Teaching at Kulliyyah Al-Mu’allimāt Al-Islāmiyyah (KMI) and serving in sectors cottage. This service activity is to produce nursery teachers who are ready to go into society to become Munẓirul Qoum. 2) Implementation of Collegian Student Service at Gontor For Girls Campus Two is carried out with the following activities: Ta’hīl activities (material training), Distribution of Subjects according to Teacher abilities, Making RPS in each Subject, Making I’dād At-Tadrīs and checking them. 3) Implications of Collegian Student Devotion to the development of educator competence in Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor For Girls Campus Two, Collegian Student are able to make a good contribution in the education and teaching process and develop their own potential. 4) Supporting Factors Implications of Collegian Student Devotion are competent Human Resources, a supportive environment and supporting infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors are individuals with different characters and limited time owned by student teachers.
