Abstract

The President implemented social assistance programs for the community during the Covid-19 Pandemic. In recent years, Indonesia has not been able to prosper its people. The distribution of social assistance greatly affects the welfare of the community. The Research of the question in this study is to 1) find out whether it has been effective and describe the effectiveness of the distribution of social assistance funds for the welfare of the people of Karang Tengah Lor Hamlet, Pengasih, Kulon Progo during the Covid-19 Pandemic, 2) find out what are the factors that affect the effectiveness of the distribution of social assistance funds for the welfare of the people of Karang Tengah Lor Hamlet, Pengasih, Kulon Progo during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research method uses qualitative methods by making observations, interviews, and documentation. Techniques in determining informants use purposive sampling techniques. Researchers use the theory of success effectiveness which states that effectiveness can be measured by several variables that have been determined from the beginning in controlling the effectiveness. There are theoretical factors that affect effectiveness, among others: Quality of Civil Apparatus, Administrator Competence, Facilities d Infrastructure, Supervision. The results showed that the effectiveness of social assistance distribution in Karang Tengah Lor Hamlet was effective, Beneficiaries of social assistance as a whole were in accordance with the criteria for social assistance recipient data registered in DTKS and also based on the latest data on the criteria for Beneficiaries of social assistance affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Quality of Civil Apparatus in supervising the distribution of social assistance and updating data
