Abstract

At the beginning of 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic became the main cause of Indonesia's economic crisis. Macroeconomics and MSME financing is one of the variables that influence economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of Macroeconomic Variables, the Number of Covid-19 Cases and MSME Financing by Islamic Banks on Economic Growth in Indonesia using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method. The results showed that the effect of the macroeconomic variables explained by the inflation variable had a significant negative effect, and the Exchange Rate variable (KURS) had a non-significant negative effect. The other results are MSME financing by Islamic banks that have a significant positive effect, and the Covid-19 pandemic has an insignificant positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia.
