Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and social support with quarter life crisis in students of Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta. The participating subjects were 83 student students at the Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta. The scales used are the modified Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE), the scale of religiosity, and The Multidimensional Scale of Preceived Social Support (MSPSS). The research method is quantitative correlational with multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the major hypothesis was accepted. There is a significant negative relationship between religiosity and social support with quarter life crisis in students of Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta with a result of F = 88.153 and significant 0.000. The results of the partial test of religiosity showed no relationship between religiosity and quarter life crisis in students of the Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta as much as 3.818 and a significance value of 0.00 (p < 0.05) which means that the first minor hypothesis was rejected. Furthermore, the partial test of social support showed that there was a significant negative relationship between social support and quarter life crisis in students of Wahid Hasyim Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta as much as -12,406 and a significance value of 0.00 (p < 0.05) which means that the second minuor hypothesis is accepted.
