Abstract

The drastic transition of the learning system from online to offline causes problems for students. This research aims to find out what problems the students of SMPN Megang Sakti experience after online learning, explain the services provided by the BK teacher at SMPN Megang Sakti to overcome these problems and analyze whether the results of the services provided by the BK teacher have overcome the students' problems. This research was conducted from March 28 to May 31 2023. This research uses mixed methods with a convergent parallel design, starting by reporting quantitative findings regarding post-online learning problems and the services provided by guidance and counseling teachers. Next, the researchers compared it with qualitative findings related to services provided by guidance and counseling teachers to overcome student problems after online learning. The data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. This research result 1) Problems experienced by SMP N Megang Sakti after online learning included a) changes in behavior, b) decreased motivation, and c) difficulties in adapting to changes in the learning system. 2) The services provided by BK teachers to overcome these problems are information services, individual counseling, consultation services, mediation services and home visits. 3) The services provided by the guidance and counseling teacher have proven to be effective, but there are problems with these services that have not been resolved by the guidance and counseling teacher. 4) based on this, it is necessary to provide service interventions including: a) Optimizing BK collaboration with parents, class teachers and subject teachers; transfer of case; providing punishment with a deterrent effect; optimizing techniques in counseling, further optimizing techniques in behavioral counseling for the problem of changing pornographic behavior. b) implementing a more massive moral culture, for bullying problems and providing rewards for students' academic development, d) improving personal quality, especially for guidance and counseling teachers, then homeroom teachers, and subject teachers) by participating in interesting learning training in the digital era 21st century
