Abstract

This study aims to examine humans as the millennial generation who need information from digital services through the iJogja application. Information searches carried out by the millennial generation are information provided by librarians through digital services in the iJogja application. The method used is qualitative, with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques carried out through interviews, observation, documentation. The theory in this study uses the theory of librarianship in the digital era to deal with the millennial generation. The results of this study are that this study explains that the library has an application called iJogja as a library innovation from digital services to make it easier for users to search for collections online, this is because the millennial generation has been influenced by the gadget system to find information quickly and easily. easy. The findings in this study are that there is an error in the application system and the number of collections is small so that to overcome this, books are also provided in the collection service. This research is important to do because there is no research that explains the millennial generation needs information through applications provided by Grhatama Pustaka in digital collection services.
