Abstract

Digitalization and income inequality are two factors that have a significant impact on a country's Life Expectancy (AHH). This research aims to investigate the influence of digitalization and income inequality on Life Expectancy in developing countries in Southeast Asia. This quantitative research uses secondary data from the official websites of international institutions, namely the World Bank and WID (World Inequality Database). The type of data used in this research is panel data, namely a combination of time series and cross sections for the 2010-2021 period. This study had a total of 107 observations. Fixed effect Model (FEM) is the best estimation model in this research. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the Digitalization variable has a positive and significant effect on the Life Expectancy Rate (AHH) of developing countries in Southeast Asia, while the income inequality variable has a negative and significant effect on the Life Expectancy Rate (AHH) variable of developing countries in Southeast Asia.
