Abstract

The research is expected to synergi^e between knoivlt development and community service to improve higher education. Knowledge development and community service should be motivated by basing on research and invention. Moreover, the research is not only for the sake of implementation of "Tri Dharma Pergutuan Tinggi" however it is expected to shift paradigm and change methodology in collaborating various knowledge. Research development at State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga must be based on Integrated-lnterconnected paradigm on knowledge between Islamic Studies, "general knowledge" and ethical transformation. This research aims to map research report based on Integration-Interconnection paradigm, looking toward model development and its implementation with Database Management System (DBMS). Research methodology employed is an experiment of research design to create a DBMS application. Research was conducted at Research Centre and Postgraduate Program UINSunanKalijaga 2004-2006as itssubject. Datagathering used is documentation. Next, data selected and searched by using content analysis. Software engineering approach used is sequential (classical life cycle) Research finding reveals hat 5 (7,5 %) researches are yet single entity of knowledge from 67 researches. Researches based on integration-interconnection paradigm 3 reports (4,5%) used methodology level. Research based on content level are 59 reports (88,0%). DBMS application is web based application which is using 1 computer and the (1) the operatingsystem is WindowsXP;(2)XAMPPv. 1.4.11 wbicbconsist of Apache K2.0J2 as web server, MySQL V.4.1.8 as Database server and PHP v.5.0.3 as script engine; (3) Microsoft Internet Explorer as web browser and (4) HTTP/ 1.1 as communication protocol from web server to web browser.
